Description
Chapoutier is a renowned winery that has been making wine in the Rhône Valley since 1808 and today has a well-deserved reputation for crafting quality wines. This one, La Bernadine, is made up of 13 classic grape varieties, with a preference for Syrah. Expect strawberry, sweet and sour cherry, pepper and “bouquet garni” (aromatic herbs) notes over a supple palate with good length.
Tasting Note
Deeply coloured, full of black, fruits and torrefaction aromas, with fragrant notes reminiscent of the local landscape. The palate is rich in alcohol and tannin, which time will bring together in mutual harmony.
