Named after the early 20th century battleship motto “fear god and dreadnought”, this wine comes from the steepest and most breath-taking hillside Man O War vineyards on Waiheke Island. This award-winning Syrah is powerful and rich with intense black bramble fruit and notes of graphite and pepper balanced by ripe integrated tannins and a freshness on the finish.Tasting Note

Man O’ War was started in 1993, located on Waiheke Island off the northern coast of New Zealand’s North Island. Winemaker and CEO, Duncan McTavish, oversees the farming of 60 hectares of vineyards.
