Rioja Twin with Carry Case

Description

Two bottles of Rioja from the bodega that helped put the region on the map. Luciano Murrieta made his first wines in 1852, and Marqués de Murrieta is now the oldest active wine company in Rioja. Every grape comes from its own Finca Ygay estate, just south of Logroño. Tempranillo leads the blend, with small amounts of Graciano and Mazuelo. The wine is aged in oak before resting in bottle before release. The pair arrive in a branded Murrieta carry bag, so it’s ready to hand over to a grateful recipient.

Tasting Note

Marques de Murrieta Reserva has aromas and flavours of strawberries, cranberries, and redcurrant jam along with thyme, laurel, pepper and Mediterranean herbs, the tannins are polished and supple.
