Method and Madness Oats and Malt is from Midleton's experimental distillery, where the distillery's masters and apprentices continue to push well beyond the boundaries of conventional Irish whiskey. Built on an unconventional mash bill of 60% oats and 40% malted barley, this is a distillate-driven whiskey that sits outside the Irish Whiskey Technical File, making it unlike anything you have tasted before.

Tasting Note

The nose opens with toasted marshmallow and a dusting of pink peppercorns, lifted by fresh orange zest. On the palate, rich fudge gives way to bright citrus oils and a hint of green chilli. The finish is long and gently creamy, with soft oats and mild tannins rounding everything out.
