Description

A modern spin on a classic style, this aromatic Soave from Italy is as cool as its label. It comes from the Pasqua winery, which has a reputation for innovation and the unconventional and this is a great example of what they do. This Soave is the perfect example of a traditional wine style revisited and reinvented and is a great Veneto alternative to Pinot Grigio.

Tasting Note

Aromas and flavours of yellow-fleshed fruits; honeydew mellow and white peaches, delicate hints of white flowers, with a fresh, tangy, well-balanced finish.

The Irish Sun

A real find this year – and one that has reinvigorated my taste buds for good Soave at a very affordable price. A straw lemon colour in the glass, it has a distinctive bouquet of citrus, green apple and pear. There is a certain note of creaminess, and minerality, on the palate, along with flavours of peach and melon. The finish also delivers a subtle hint of almond. Enjoy with: Grilled Mackerel.
