O’Hara’s Double IPA is a robust, full-bodied ale from Carlow Brewing Company, one of Ireland’s pioneering craft breweries. This copper-toned beer is brewed with a generous blend of hops, delivering a bold bitterness that’s balanced by a rich malt backbone. The use of caramel and crystal malts imparts a subtle sweetness, creating a harmonious profile. Light carbonation allows the complex flavours to shine, making it an excellent companion to hearty dishes like grilled meats or spicy curries.

Tasting Note

Has a light malt base with just the right mouthfeel to allow the hop character to predominate. Grapefruit-like bitterness is full and lasting and is balanced by a zesty citrus burst of aroma from two late additions of cascade hops.
