Pilsner Urquell is the world’s first golden lager, brewed since 1842 in Plzeň, Czechia. It redefined beer, setting the benchmark for pilsner style with its deep malt richness and trademark Saaz hop bitterness. Still brewed at source using the original triple decoction method and soft local water, it delivers real depth without heaviness.

Its smooth, balanced body makes it a natural match for roast pork or cured meats.

Tasting Note

The aroma is floral and lightly spicy. Flavour builds from sweet, bready malt to a crisp, earthy bitterness with a clean, dry finish that invites another sip.
