The Bridge is a series of limited single cask releases from Lough Ree Distillery, sourced and aged by the team while their own spirit matures. Each release is unique and bottled in small quantities.

Black Donkey No.2 is a 5-year-old double distilled single malt from Great Northern Distillery, matured in a first-fill bourbon cask and finished for 15 weeks in a beer cask from Black Donkey Brewing in Roscommon. That cask had held Rubicon, a limited-edition robust ale. Just 312 bottles were produced. A smooth whiskey with real local character.

Tasting Note

Nose: Raspberry ripple ice cream, freshly baked sponge cake. Taste: Fruity with citrus and raspberry sherbet, with black pepper spice and raspberry jam. Finish: Dryer than expected but long with fruit and lots of spice.
