Description

The Bridge is a series of limited single cask releases from Lough Ree Distillery, sourced and aged by the team while their own spirit matures.

Portlick is a 14-year-old single grain distilled at Cooley Distillery. It matured in first-fill bourbon for 9 years 2 months, then in a red wine cask for 15.5 months, before returning to first-fill bourbon for over 3 years 7 months. Bottled at 46% ABV, just 241 bottles were released. There are few Irish grain whiskies on the market, making this a real rare gem for lovers of the style.

Tasting Note

Nose: Oak Spice, Pencil Shavings, Vanilla, Floral notes Taste: Cedar Wood, Brown Sugar, Vanilla, marmalade Finish: Long, Spicy Oak and caramel.
