The Bridge is a series of limited single cask releases from Lough Ree Distillery, sourced and aged while their own spirit matures.

This 14-year-old single grain from Cooley Distillery is bottled at 46% ABV with only 235 bottles made. It spent 9 years and 2 months in first-fill bourbon casks, followed by 15.5 months in Portuguese white Moscatel casks from Adega de Palmela. Finally, it returned to bourbon casks for over 3 years and 7 months. This whiskey beautifully showcases how grain can shine through complex cask ageing.

Tasting Note

Nose: Orange Chocolate, Floral notes, honey Taste: Sweet, Oily, orange chocolate, Christmas spices. Finish: Lon, warming, sweet spices, caramelised orange peel.
