Vegan's Delight - 6 Bottle Mixed Case
Description
This case includes some examples of our favourite vegan wines from across Europe. Each of these wines hail from quality-focussed wineries, eschewing the use of any animal products during production, to deliver the best expression of their local terroir. We have tried to show grape, regional & climatic diversity in our selection.
Marqués de la Concordia Rioja Reserva, Rioja, Spain
A classic Rioja revisited, this is a fruit-driven style with an unmistakably traditional vanilla and savoury character. 100% Tempranillo aged in French & American oak for 24 months, it displays deep red berried fruit, well-integrated oak and a touch of spice all wrapped up in velvety tannins. If you love classic Rioja Reserva you will adore this!
Wildflower Pinot Noir, Romania
In this stylish and silk-smooth unoaked Pinot Noir it is not hard to see why Romania is the 6th largest wine producer in Europe. Ripe cherry and raspberry fruit flavours are balanced with soft tannins and fresh acidity. A wonderful, crowd-pleasing wine.
Tandem Ars In Vitro, Navarra, Spain
A classy red from a boutique, quality obsessed winery in Navarra. The name of this wine translates as 'Art In Glass' and expresses the cool climate Yerri Valley Tempranillo and Merlot fruit without the use of oak. It is a fresh, savoury and complex red with dark-berry and damson fruit, a well-structured palate and long-lasting flavours.
Brocard Petit Chablis, Burgundy, France
One of the great names in Chablis, Jean-Marc Brocard makes stunning Petit Chablis that is easily as good as many mainline Chablis. Fantastic crisp and clean orchard fruits, before that typical Chablis streak of minerality on the lingering finish.
Rizzardi Pinot Grigio, Veneto, Italy
Guerrieri Rizzardi is the result of the union between two venerable winemaking families that date back to the 17th century and this single-estate Pinot Grigio expresses the result of generations of winemaking knowledge. This is Pinot Grigio as it is meant to be: crisp, dry and bursting with ripe pear and peachy fruit before a touch of honey & spice on the long finish.
Lingenfelder Bird Label Riesling, Pfalz, Germany
The Lingenfelder family have lived in the Pfalz for close to 500 years and winemaker, Rainer Lingenfelder, represents the 13th generation to grow grapes in the area. This off-dry Riesling offers delightful floral aromas. The palate is crisp and fresh with ripe peach and grapefruit flavours. An excellent wine choice to partner mildly spiced Asian dishes.
