Description

Owned by the renowned fifth generation Burgundian winemakers, Famille Vincent Château Fuissé, this Juliénas has an intense and deep ruby colour and offers a real step up on basic Beaujolais. The nose is complex, aromatic and fruit-forward. Red berries and floral notes are beautifully balanced by earthy black peppercorn and wild herb flavours. The palate holds good weight whilst maintaining the typical fresh Gamay acidity and soft tannins.

Raspberries and spice, dried herbs, supple and juicy yet underpinned by gentle tannins. Several cuts above the usual Beaujolais.
