Refreshing Slovak Lager
4.7%

Description

Zlatý Bažant translates as Golden Pheasant and is Slovakia’s best-known beer. Produced in Hurbanovo, southern Slovakia, it’s made using carefully selected malted barley, hops and pure water sourced from the surrounding region. The brewery is one of the most advanced in Central Europe, designed to maintain consistency and quality. Brewing follows a controlled lagering process with cold fermentation, allowing the beer to develop a smooth, crisp profile. Extended maturation helps refine balance and ensures a clean finish

Tasting Note

The taste typically features sweet, toasted, or bready malts upfront, which are then balanced by a pronounced, zesty, and often lemony or floral hop bitterness that is true to the Czech Pilsner style. Hints of toffee or honey can also be present.
