Powers "3 Swallow" Pot Still Irish Whiskey

NOW €30.00 / WAS €47.50

OFFER ENDS - MARCH 20th

We start with a Single Pot Still whiskey which has a huge following. This is a modern expression of what the original Powers whiskey tasted like back when it was distilled at John’s Lane distillery throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. It is a triple distilled Single Pot Still whiskey matured primarily in American bourbon with a small sherry aged component. 3 Swallow represents the characteristics of Single Pot Still whiskey: robust, spicy and powerful, while remaining accessible and easy drinking. Expect flavours of orange peel, pear and tropical fruit with butterscotch, some wood spice and light oiliness. Hard to believe this can be picked up at this price currently.

Bushmills 10 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey

NOW €39.00 / WAS €45

From the oldest whiskey distillery in the world, this 10 Year Old Single Malt is keenly priced when compared to many similarly aged whiskeys. Notes of tart apple and smooth vanilla exude from the nose, with a peppery finsih with a hint of cinnamon. Though this is a light-bodied whiskey there is a fair amount of flavour with Melted chocolate and vanilla that rests on the tongue before releasing a hint of honey in your cheeks. Crisp, clean finish with a touch of sherry that gently lingers on the palate.

Yellow Spot Irish Whiskey

NOW €70.00/WAS €79.95

Rather than being simply a finished whiskey, Yellow Spot is special in that it contains single pot still whiskey that has been matured for a full 12 year period in three oak cask types: American bourbon barrels, Spanish sherry butts and uniquely,, Spanish Malaga casks. Bottled at 46% ABV, with notes of jiucy red apples, creme brulée & toasted oak - the influence of the Malaga cask brings an exotic sweet note to the whiskey making it a truly delightful taste experience.
