Marqués de Cáceres Reserva
Produced by the fourth generation of founder Enrique Forner, Marqués de Cáceres is one of the most recognisable names in Spanish wine. Their Reserva is considered to be a modern twist on traditional Rioja, made with Tempranillo and Granacha grapes from some of the best vineyard sites in Rioja Alta and Alavesa. The wine is aged 20 months in new and used French oak barrels to give a serious, richly rewarding wine with a complex bouquet of cherry, vanilla and soft toasted notes. The palate is balanced and silky with well-defined tannins and crunchy bramble fruit.
