Description

Domaine Chanson is a renowned Burgundy house, founded in 1750, and now owned by Champagne Bollinger, who have spared no expense upgrading the vineyards and winery. They are a specialists in the great terroirs of Burgundy. This Beaune Bastion Premier Cru is from a careful selection from their best sites in Beaune. The wine was aged inside the Bastion walls which once formed part of the fortifications of the city of Beaune.

Tasting Note

Aromas of ripe black berries with a hint of vanilla, overall, this Pinot Noir is complex with a very pure fruit. The palate is dense with a velvety texture and well-integrated tannins, and a long fruit filled finish.
