"Lovely intense and bright nose with violets, cherry, plum and hints of anise. The enveloping palate has subtle concentration and energy, all wonderfully balanced with some minty expressions coming from the 50% Cabernet Franc in the blend. Like Château Palmer in Margaux, this wine rivals a vintage like 2020. Never heavy or powerful but velvety, with Cabernet Sauvignon lending structure for a longer haul, even if it will already be delicious once released in bottle."

How To Buy En Primeur In 4 Steps
1. Select which En Primeur wine/wines you would like to order and pay for them today. Please note that this order can only contain wine from the En Primeur selection and may not include any other web products.
2. You will receive a confirmation email and receipt for your order. Please disregard any reference to shipping/delivery in these automated emails. We will contact you as soon as your wines arrive in 2026 – the delivery cost is included in the price you pay today.
3. In the summer of 2026 you will be invoiced for the Excise Duty and Vat on the Excise Duty.*
4. The 2023 wines will be bottled and released by the châteaux in the summer of 2026 and will then be shipped to your preferred location in Ireland.
*In compliance with Irish tax laws, VAT on the wine is payable now and included in the case price of your wine (currently 23%). Duty will be charged at the rate set by Revenue when the wines arrive in the country, which will also be subject to VAT. For estimation purposes the current Excise Duty rates in Ireland are €3.19 per bottle (€19.14 per 6 bottle case) plus 23% VAT.
