Description

This elegant gift box features both the red and white wines of Château Villa Bel-Air, a respected estate in Bordeaux. It is now run by a passionate young couple who have lovingly restored the historic property. They live on-site with their three sons. The château is situated on the gently sloping, gravel rich soils of Graves that give the region its name. A perfect gift for Bordeaux lovers or a treat for a special dinner.

Tasting Note

The white is cool-fermented in oak-barrels and aged on the lees to give a richness of palate and good body weight, whilst the Sauvignon Blanc adds freshness and acidity. The red is an incredibly elegant Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend with flavours of ripe blackberries and liquorice, while oak ageing adds good tannic structure and a hint of vanilla and spice flavours.
