Description

If you’re looking for a fresher, fruit-driven red, this is the wine for you. It’s made by Thomas Collogne, the seventh generation of his family to craft wines at Domaine de Colonat. The vineyards sit at a high altitude and this, along with their granite soils, results in lovely wines that have great freshness and structure.

This wine was awarded 97 points by Decanter (2023 vintage).

Tasting Note

An elegant Morgon, filled with exuberant dark berry fruit and velvety tannins that envelop a core of blackberry, cherry and blueberry fruit through to a long and lingering finish.
