From superstar Languedoc winemaker, Gérard Bertrand, this Rivesaltes is a superbly complex, developed tawny wine from the south of France. It makes a fantastic alternative to tawny port and is an ideal match for Stilton cheese.No stranger to awards, Gérard was named Master Winemaker of the Year in The Drinks Business Magazine’s The Master Winemaker 100 (2023).
Tasting Note
On the palate it is sweet, rich and incredibly smooth with a wash of those same nutty, raisiny characters. Pronounced aromas of hazelnut, figs and dates lift from the glass.Product Reviews
