From Gérard Bertrand's family estate at the heart of Boutenac, the 'Grand Cru' of Corbiéres, this is a highly sophisticated red as good as any from the region. A blend dominated by old vine Carignan and Syrah with plenty of juicy cranberry and bramble fruit but also a herbal note plus coffee and leather on the long finish. Tasting Note

Plenty of juicy cranberry and bramble fruit but also a herbal note plus coffee and leather on the long finish. Expressing some delicious bottle-aged character and wonderful gamey, leathery flavours. Beautifully smooth, soft tannins.
