Tasting Note
Made from semi-dried grapes, similar to the Italian Appassimento style, there are attractive youthful notes of ripe plums, cherries, fresh crushed herbs and a hint of sweet spices. The palate is mellow with soft ripe tannins with a gentle natural sweetness which is balanced with a fresh acidity and a juicy finish.Product Reviews

Bodegas Trenza
Bodegas Trenza is based in Alicante and specialises in growing and making the Monastrell grape. It was established in 2004 by the Danish winemaking brothers, David and Jonas Tofterup, David has been named best winemaker of young wines in Spain twice and Jonas is the only Danish Master of Wine. Between them, they have made wines across four different continents. In Alicante they work only with native grapes, and over 95% of their vineyards are dry farmed (no irrigation), and over 80% are grown using an organic approach.
