From the iconic Bodegas Riojanas, this 100% Tempranillo hails from premium Cenicero vineyards in La Rioja Alta. It’s oaked for 24-30 months, which gives the wine a wonderful complexity and structure and it's then aged in bottle for at least another 36 months. Bodegas Riojanas is one of our long-time partners and its winemaker Emilio Sojo Nalda was named Best Winemaker of Rioja in The Drinks Business magazine’s The Master Winemaker 100 (2023).Tasting Note
Multi-layered with notes of red and black fruit, vanilla, spice and savoury elements from the oak ageing, all underpinned by graceful balancing acidity.

Complex leather, forest floor and truffle nose. The palate is fairly subtle with elegant woody notes and some sweet spice. Finishes well. 90 Points.
