From the iconic Bodegas Riojanas, this 100% Tempranillo hails from premium vineyards in La Rioja Alta. It’s oaked for 24-30 months, which gives the wine a wonderful complexity, and is then aged in bottle for at least another 36 months.Bodegas Riojanas is one of our long-time partners and winemaker Emilio Sojo Nalda was named Best Winemaker of Rioja in The Drinks Business magazine’s The Master Winemaker 100 (2023).
Tasting Note
Multi-layered with notes of red and black fruit, vanilla, spice and savoury elements from the oak ageing, all underpinned by graceful balancing acidity.
