Description

Penfolds Bin 389 was often referred to as ‘Baby Grange’, in part because components of the wine are matured in the same barrels that held the previous vintage of Penfold’s iconic Grange wine. A classic Australian blend of Cabernet Sauvignon & Shiraz, expect cassis and juniper aromas, subtle hints of vanilla and coconut from oak ageing in this rich, robust red.

Tasting Note

Lifted and fragrant aromas of cassis and juniper, subtle hints of vanilla and coconut from oak ageing. On the palate concentrated flavours of black cherry stand out, with the firm tannins adding structure.
