Penfolds Max’s Chardonnay is a tribute to former Chief Winemaker Max Schubert, who cemented the winery's reputation between 1948-1975. The grapes are from the cooler climate Adelaide Hills, and a level of acidity gives the wine a certain elegance and freshness. A great introduction to one of Australia’s top wineries, expect ripe pear and nectarine flavours, some subtle oak and that crisp, acidity.Product Reviews
