Sophie Schaal Gewürztraminer is an organic white wine made in Hunawihr by Sophie Schaal, a Burgundy-born winemaker known for expressive, terroir-led wines. Crafted from hand-harvested grapes grown on predominantly limestone soils and farmed organically, the grapes are whole-bunch pressed and gently fermented to preserve the variety’s rich aromatic character. This off-dry style offers a generous, food-friendly option that works beautifully as an aperitif or alongside spicy dishes.
Serve well chilled and pair with a spicy Thai curry, sweet and sour dishes, or soft cheeses such as Brie.
No minimum order and if you spend €100 or more we'll deliver your order for free anywhere in Ireland.
Orders are normally delivered within 1-2 working days, (Monday-Friday excluding bank holidays) of you placing the order.
Change your mind? No problem. You can cancel your order at any stage or return some or all of it through any of our stores or we can arrange a collection. Simply contact us by email online@obrienswine.ie and we'll look after the rest.
