Our Wonderfully Aromatic Italian White
falanghina

Seafood, Pasta & Salads

Description

Falanghina is an ancient Italian variety that will appeal to fans of Albariño for its rich aromatics and seafood friendliness. Some of the most fascinating wines in Italy are coming from the south. Villa Raiano is a modern family-owned winery in the ancient winemaking region of Campania near Naples. Winemaking here dates to when the region was colonised first by the Greeks and later Romans. The region is known for its volcanic soils and local grape varieties that produce distinctive wines. If you love wines with character and depth, this is a great choice. Try pairing it with classic dishes such as a seafood linguine.

Tasting Note

Vibrant and beautifully-balanced with ample apricot and pineapple notes along with hints of citrus and a crisp salty note on the finish.
