Description
Pic St-Loup is a unique terroir within the Languedoc, which takes its name from the local Saint Loup mountain peak.
The Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache grapes for this classic blend are grown on limestone terroir, resulting in a beautifully concentrated wine with a complex array of rich dark fruit, black olive tapenade and herbal garrigue flavours.
It’s made by the multi-award winning Gérard Bertrand, who was named Master Winemaker of the Year in The Drinks Business Magazine’s The Master Winemaker 100 (2023). He was acknowledged for his commitment to biodynamics and for the exceptional quality of his wines, which consistently scored high marks in the magazine’s tastings.
Tasting Note
Supremely elegant with wonderful fruit purity, silky smooth tannins and layers of wild bramble fruit with a lingering richness on the finish.
