Happy smiling faces all around today to greet a very special guest to our store in Douglas, Cork.
As you might remember we held our first wine fair in Cork last November, over 25 winemakers from around the world flew in for the event and met with over 400 wine lovers at the Clarion hotel.
Whilst the wine was the main attraction a visit from the lovely Jack, a puppy in training to be a guide dog, stole the show!
We were delighted to welcome him back to the store along with John Burke from Irish Guide dogs for the blind to accept a cheque for €5,000.
Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind offers a comprehensive suite of services which enable both blind and vision impaired persons and families of children with Autism to achieve increased independence and an improved quality of life.
We are so proud to support this wonderful cause and would like to thank all of our customers for supporting us on the night as well as Nicolas, Laura and the team for doing such a great job in organising the event.
As a thank you for the donation Irish Guide Dogs have given us the honour on naming a puppy and we’ll keep you updated on that news!
